Common Side Effects

- Bruising is another common side effect. Everyone has blood vessels, and sometimes they can cause bruising after injection.
It is best to ice the injection site for 24 hours after injection.
It’s important to be aware of this so you can plan ahead of any events you may be getting ready for!
If you want to reduce swelling, it is also best to sleep with your head propped up, stay away from blood thinning medications, alcohol, and exercise within 24 hours of your appointment.
